Xfire - Gaming Simplified.

okay this post is about Xfire gaming client and the usefulness of it
and to top it all up ^^ its free!

Okay to short the post with xfire you can:
Make friends and instantly join game with them
Chat with friends
Take game screen shots
Make game videos
Broadcast live game video
Make Voice calls
Make Chat Rooms
Make your own Guilds or Join any Guilds etc.
Browse website while playing game without leaving the game.
And get gaming status to share on your blogs etc.
Like game playing hours etc.

1st download and install xfire from www.xfire.com and while installing close all games ^^
2nd make xfire id and log into the client and let the client detect all the games installed.
3rd if your game is not detected then go in Tools > Options > Games and do manual adding
of your fav game .
3th you may wish to make in game videos so first you need to activate the recording volume
if you wish to make video with sound by going to Tools> Video
and also set what key binding keys you wish for the recording i use Scroll Lock + V
that means to record video i simple press Scroll Lock and V for video recording or stopping.
4th After recording is done the video gets auto saved in folder and when you go to xfire
client you will see the video recorded then simply go in xfire client > Videos > Source Videos
and select the video you wish and then on right side check Upload > fill details
and it will encode the video and upload it to the xfire.com site
you may also go to xfire client folder > video encoded folder and upload the video to youtube etc xD
if you wish as easy as ABCD ^^ but it will take time for you to learn it.



Few in game control keys:
Ingame Easy Menu: Scroll Lock + X
Video Recording: Scroll Lock + V
Live Broadcasting: Scroll Lock + B
Chat Window: Scroll Lock + C
Voice Chat: Scroll Lock + T
Web Browser: Scroll Lock + W

Okay in the in game easy menu is even the web browser really great and useful too and light on memory.

Xfire ingame browser doesn't work with any game for me. Np, TO is in window mode and I can use steam for fullscreen games.

Ahhh works with all games for me
now I have to play TO in window mode because its not HD compatible.
Maybe in Vista you will need to do something Shao!
